Cinnamon

For hundreds of years, the ancient Greeks and Romans used Cinnamon for better digestion. But be careful not to eat Cinnamon oil. It can be toxic if injested even in small amounts. Instead use ground Cinnamon to spice up your meals and vegetables.
You can sprinkle it on Pumpkin pie, cooked Carrots, Squash and Sweet Potatoe's. You could also use the sticks in Wines, Coffee drinks and juices. Apart from pepping up digestion, it stabalises Blood Sugar - a pinch of Cinnamon can make insulin work better.
